Srinagar, April 05 (KNO): Shahr-e-Khass Coordination Committee on Friday condemned the frequent restrictions in Old City areas, saying that such curbs are giving huge losses to the businessmen here. In a statement issued to KNO, the committee chairman Nazir Ahmad Shah, President Bashir Ahmad Kenu, senior vice president Irfan Wani and General Secretary Waseem Ahmad Khan said that imposing curbs in Old City areas is a daily routine now. “How can we conduct our business in these circumstances? Every customer gets diverted to other areas, resulting in huge losses to our business,” they said. “We have become victims always. Our business drops every year firstly there were harsh winters, now its season but unfortunately administration don’t want us to conduct our business smoothly. We strongly condemn the act of restrictions in our area and demand this exercise should stop on priority basis,” they added.(KNO)
